The double blade Mezzaluna knife arrived by courier and we quickly unpackaged it to view the product we had ordered.
As first Glance it looks smaller than expected. It is the 5-1/5" stated but still looks small. The size didn't seem to mater when it came to chopping. It cut through the celery and onions cleanly and without hardly any effort. Rocking and Walking the knife through the vegetables was second nature. The dual blades chopped everything twice so you can take less swipes or finer cuts with half the effort.
Learning to cut the food to the size you want, takes a few minutes of trial and error and a few sacrificial stalks of celery, but the learning curve is short.
I like this knife for slicing / chopping larger foods but will revert back to a single blade for smaller foods like Garlic and cherry tomatoes.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: needs both hands on the knife to chop or slice, shipping to singapore was costly
