Does everything it's supposed to. Powerful motor combined with strong and well made blades makes short work of ice and frozen fruit. The wide base of the container makes sitting it down on a counter no problem. Controls are simple and easy to use. Clean-up of the container (stainless steel) is a snap. Other styles of containers are available adding to the versatility. Always have the lid on when starting this blender, the motor is so strong that you'll be wearing about half of what you're blending if you don't!
The only downside is that this unit is quite loud when running. Upside to this is that the unit works so quickly and effectively, you don't have to hear it for very long!
