I use this cleaver to chop up turkey necks to give to my dogs as teeth cleaning treats. Because of the weight of this cleaver and easy grip of the handle, One chop will do.
I also enjoy the look of the cleaver. When i bring it out to get the poultry chopped up, it makes me smile to have the right tool for the job that is also a delight to the eye. This product was recommended to me by my favorite mentor in dog training who has had one for over 10 years. It is still going strong.
