Good quality, rim is nice & flat, & seals well. The weight of the lid helps keep the heat & steam in, so with the lid on the pan, the food cooks well even on low heat on a regular household oven. I luvd the price of the lid, but I did bawk a little at the shipping charge, BUT IN Tundra's favour, even with shipping, the lid was still 40% cheaper than the competition.
