Over a two year period, I purchased and broke three different citrus juicers from various retail outlets. Frustrated, I looked to the commercial restaurants supply folks and purchased a Model J210 Citrus Juicer. That was back in 1995 and my wife and I have used it daily ever since with no complaints. I will say, after about ten years, the spring that lifts the handle broke, but this did not affect how the juicer performed. It is now 2011...16 years without a complaint...and I find that the rubber bumpers on the bottom have begun to disentigrate, but that is the worst problem yet.

I am a dedicated home cook and I love fresh ingredients, so this juicer stayed out on my counter all summer long. My husband bought it for me for my birthday, and I was a bit irritated because he spent so much money on a juicer. But then I loved it. But within two months, a stress point broke during use. It lasted another year half-broken, but now it is totally broken. I have had hand-squeeze juicers last longer than this. I can only assume this was a manufacturing defect, because the manufacturer prides itself on durability.
Pros: efficient
Cons: Not durable

This is a great juicer. Bought this one as a gift, but have had one in my own kitchen for 6+ years. Tough, kid-friendly, easy to clean! Besides citrus, it works great on pomegranates!

I HAVE USED SEVERAL JUICERS OVER THE TIME,AND THIS ONE IS THE BEST ONE THAT I HAVE USED IN YEARS.I WISH THAT I WOULD OF BOUGHT ONE EARLIER. THANK YOU.
